RICK PIKE became a friend of J.T. and Carlos through their involvement with Star Trek: Hidden Frontier, and the spin-off Odyssey and Helena Chronicles productions. After seeing some of J.T.’s other interesting short films (and helping salvage the Judas Kiss launch party from an overzealous hotel security team — it turned out fine, by the way) Rick made a commitment to help J.T. get this film produced.

Rick hopes to work on effective, low-cost marketing strategies for the film while it is in production. Another major initiative will be to develop teams of volunteers across the country to provide the Judas Kiss producers with strategic information about their area, including suitable commercial and social sites on which to focus the film’s promotion and marketing activities, and to stimulate these volunteers to be the street team for Judas Kiss marketing and publicity.

Rick has also previously worked behind the scenes on other productions in various roles, including production assistant, voice talent, technical crew, otter wrangler, Web site development and public relations/donations coordinator. He is constantly amazed by the collective creativity, versatility, and talent of all these people, and hopes to glean just a bit of that energy and skill from them. In the mirror universe, Rick is a university administrator from the Washington, D.C., area.
