Today was the first day of the American Film Market (AFM) conference, and our sales and distribution partner, Shoreline Entertainment, made sure The Dark Place is getting noticed. AFM is considered the premiere global film marketplace, where Hollywood decision-makers and trendsetters all gather under one roof.
Shoreline Entertainment, the Los Angeles-based production and sales company, has picked up world sales rights to wine-country mystery-thriller, The Dark Place, from Blue Seraph Productions.
After 21 days of principal photography, The Dark Place concluded its shoot on May 11. A cast and crew of nearly 50 people worked hard to capture the mystery behind troubled Keegan Dark, his wealthy family’s winery estate and the conspiracy that threatens the Dark family and their legacy.
The Huffington Post tells the story of how fans of the book helped propel Something Like Summer to bestseller status and literary awards, and on its way to the movie screen.
