Cold Reading

THE ACHILLES HEEL of many actors. You can be best the actor in Los Angeles, but no one is going to know it if you can’t get past your first audition. You might only get a day to 30 minutes to prepare for an audition but I can give you a few helpful tips for preparing using your sides or a monologue. However, the most important way to get better at cold reading is to practice often. Like any instrument, you need to practice your skills regularly.
