OUTTV HAS licensed Judas Kiss for television broadcast, video on demand and DVD in Belgium, the Netherlands and Scandinavia.

OutTV is a lifestyle television network in the Netherlands, Belgium and Sweden, offering internationally acclaimed television programs, art house movies, series and documentaries that push boundaries and stand apart from other networks.

The DVD is scheduled to go on sale near the end of March, according to the network, while the film will begin to air near the end of 2012.

“We’re thrilled to make this announcement,” said Judas Kiss writer-producer Carlos Pedraza. “OutTV provides bold and daring programming with a sense of style and edginess. We think Judas Kiss fits right in.”

THE LICENSING deal covers a broad swath of Europe, including Dutch-speaking Luxembourg, Belgium, the Netherlands and Swedish-speaking Scandinavia. Judas Kiss is already available in much of that territory on iTunes, but only in English.

The broadcast deal also includes the extended 40-minute Judas Kiss: Behind the Scenes TV special. The shorter, 22-minute version is currently available to view in four webisodes on YouTube.

The DVD art from OutTV prominently features co-star Timo Descamps, a well-known media figure in Belgium and the Netherlands, where he works as a TV host (for, among other networks, OutTV), actor and recording artist. His single, “Like it Rough,” appears on the Judas Kiss soundtrack album.

Judas Kiss also screened last year in the popular Norrköping, Sweden, Filmfestival Flimmer.

Currently, OutTV is only available in Benelux and Sweden, but the network plans to expand to Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well. Judas Kiss is already available in German-speaking Europe through out distributor, Pro-Fun Media.

THE USS COPERNICUS and the Enterprise in Star Trek: Phase II's 'Blood and Fire.'

The second part of “Blood and Fire,” Star Trek: Phase II‘s newest episode, is scheduled for wide release on the Internet on Friday, Nov. 20, according to the Phase II Web site.

“Blood and Fire” was written by Blue Seraph’s Carlos Pedraza with noted scifi author David Gerrold, who wrote the original script for Star Trek: The Next Generation in the late 1980s. Principal photography was in June 2007. Part 1 was released in December 2008. Both parts feature stunning visual effects by Blue Seraph partner Joël Bellucci of Bellucci Designs.

THE BRIDGE of the U.S.S. Enterprise comes under attack in “Blood and Fire, Part 1,” written by Carlos Pedraza.

Pursued and damaged by repeated Klingon attacks, the crew of the Enterprise responds to the distress call from a Federation research vessel.

In a matter of hours, that ship and crew will be consumed by a nearby star while the crew of the Enterprise faces a mysterious horror that threatens both ships.

BLOOD AND FIRE, PART 1 Carlos Pedraza adapted this acclaimed, controversial and never-produced Star Trek: The Next Generation script by David Gerrold into this two-part episode for the award-winning Web series, Star Trek: Phase II.
